Enterprise Mobility in Asia Catching On

SINGAPORE -- A growing mobile workforce and renewed focus on increasing operational results is leading to the growth of mobile enterprise applications and services in the Asia-Pacific region.

According to a report by Frost & Sullivan, Asia Pacific Mobile Enterprise Market, revenues in this market almost reached $21 billion in 2006 and is forecasted to grow at a CAGR of 11.6 percent through 2011.

Mobile office applications, especially e-mail applications, are showing the strongest growth.  Field force automation, enterprise resource planning and customer relationship management applications are also growing at a healthy pace.
